Turkey and the Eurovision Song Contest
Turkey won the Eurovision Song Contest once, back in 2003 with Sertab Erener's Everyway that I can. Just like Sertab, Sibel was selected internally by Turkish public broadcaster TRT.
Sibel Tüzün
Sibel Tüzün was born in Istanbul. In 1990 she took part in the Turkish national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, but didn't came further than a 9th place with Kime ne. She studied at the Istanbul University State Conservatory as well. Her first album Ah biz kizlar, back in 1992, became a big success and many more successes followed.
