Last Saturday, the Portuguese branch of the Eurovision Song Contest fans organisation OGAE (Organisation Générale des Amateurs de l'Eurovision) voted for the songs in competition at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest. Portugal was excluded from the voting.

The outcome of the Portuguese fans voting was as follows:

13. United Kingdom 64 pts
14. Sweden 60 pts

36. Moldova 0 pts

It is curious to notice that same as last year, Moldova came last with nil points on the OGAE Portugal votes.

Last year, the Portuguese fans club predicted the victory of Hungary and the 6th place to Greece. In 2004 they predicted the victoy of Serbia & Montenegro and the second place of Ukraine, though in the actual final the voting was the other way around. Let's wait and see what this year's results will bring!
