Carola shoots video in Athens

This year's Swedish representative Carola will be flying to Athens next week to shoot the video clip of her Eurovision entry Invincible. The video clip will be directed by Mikeadelica who has directed video clips for A-Teens and Darin previously.

It is becoming a fashion to film the preview video in Greece, the host nation, this year. Six4One (from Switzerland) were the first to do so and now the Swedes are the next to follow suit.

As far as the performance on the Eurovision Song Contest stage is concerned, Carola's plan is to change her performance drastically from what she had in the Swedish national final. She is working with the famous choreographer Rone Sonderlund in order to come up with a brand new and fresh stage act and choreography. Some strong elements of her Melodifestivalen-act will remain and many new features will be added.

Carola is currently recording her new album Fran nu til evighet (From now to eternity) in Stockholm. Most of the songs on this album are co-written by the artist herself.

Sweden will be taking part in the semi final of the 51st Eurovision Song Contest, on the 18th of May, due to the result of last year in Kyiv.
