OGAE Turkey has just launched a brand new site dedicated to the Turkish entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens. Superstarturkey.com contains news, information about singer Sibel and downloads in an attempt to promote Süperstar by Sibel Tüzün.

Fans will remember that OGAE Turkey were one of the first clubs to promote their country's Eurovision Song Contest entry in this way back in 2003, when the eventual winner Sertab Erener was showcased on www.sertab.tk. Since then, online promotion has become commonplace in the Eurovision publicity parade.

Turkish fans will be hoping that the site helps give Sibel a Sertab-style boost, enough to push them from the qualifier round to the international final in Athens. For the first time, Turkey finds itself in need of qualification to appear in the grand final, after Gülseren just missed out on a secure placing for Turkey in Kyiv.

At the moment the site is only available in Turkish, but an English version will be published soon. Visit the site at this link!
