Tina Karol, Irina Rosenfeld and Kirill Turichenko are the three finalists of Ty-zirka, the Ukrainian talent scout show to find a representative for the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest. The winner will be chosen on 11th March.

Yesterday, it was Eurovision Song Contest night for the six participants. Stanislav Konkin, singing UK 1976 winner Save your kisses for me, Natalia Volkova, who sang Shiri Maimon's 2005 entry for Israel, Hasheket shenishar and Vladimir Tkachenko, who sang Finland's 2005 entry Why? had to leave.

Tina Karol, who is the main favorite to win the battle, performed an English version of Ein lied kann eine Brücke sein, which represented Germany at the 1975 contest. Irina Rosenfeld sang the last Dutch Eurovision Song Contest winner Ding a dong, also from 1975. Kirill Turichenko tried to impress the audience with In your eyes, which won for Ireland in 1993.

During the final, each participant will sing his/her song for the Eurovision Song Contest. The winner will represent Ukraine in the semifinal of the 51st Eurovision Song Contest, on 18th May.
