With the first semifinal of Melodifestivalen 2006 on schedule for 18th February, Sweden launches its first Eurovision Song Contest magazine: Alla Alskar Schlager (Everyone loves schlager).
The new magazine will offer its readers glamour, gossip, interviews, photo reports and more. The first issue carries Lena Philipsson on the cover and is scheduled to be release on 14th February. It contains interviews with 'big names' from the Melodifestivalen scene, such as Kikki Danielsson, Carola and Lena Philipsson.
The Melodifestivalen semifinals kick off next week,18th February, in Leksand. SVT Europe will air the show live at 20:00 CET through satellite (Sirius 2). Lena Philipsson, who represented Sweden in 2004, hosts the show.
