Telex, the group which represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1980, has released a brand new single: On the road again. On 27th February, a full album including an electro remix of Sandra Kim's winning Eurovision Song Contest song J'aime la vie, will be released.
Telex was founded in the 70s. The group consists of Marc Moulin, Michel Moers and Dan Lacksman and is considered as one of the pioneers of electro pop.
In 1980 Telex participated in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Euro-vision. Their ambition to finish last failed when Portugal awarded Belgium with 10 points. In the end, Telex finished 17th of the 19 participants. Nevertheless, the act became one of the highlights in the Eurovision Song Contest archive of the last 50 years.
More than 25 years later, Telex is back in the spotlight. The group released the brand new single On the road again, to be followed by the release of the full album How do you dance, on 27th February. The album will include a number of remixes, one of which is Sandra Kim's winning Eurovision Song Contest song.
