Today is the big day ! Copenhagen, the Parken and DR are ready for the 46th Eurovision Song Contest. Today, we will keep you updated with the latest news, pictures and funfacts ! The first dress rehearsal yesterday was a great success, also for the two hosts Søren (picture) and Natasja !

Every year the spectacle becomes bigger and bigger ! More than 35.000 people will see the contest live in the Parken and it is expected that more than one hundred million people will see the contest on television. This year the Eurovision Song Contest will be broadcasted on the web for the second time: last year by Microsoft, this year by Yahoo!, the famous search engine and portal site.

The stage in Parken is huge ! It looks very like metal and it seems to be spectacular, like DR producer Jørgen Ramskoff promised. The 23 participating countries will all have a different background, just like last year in Stockholm. Three amazing screens behind stage will make sure everybody � on television and live in the Parken � is able to see the stage and the artists on stage.

France, Greece, Slovenia and Malta are favorite this year for winning the contest. In the polls the last months Portugal, Bosnia, Ireland and Turkey where seen at the bottom of the list. Most of the countries will vote by televoting, a few will use a 50/50 combination of televoting and jury and a few others will only use a jury. Like Russia; the country is too big to handle all the votes by telephone, so the Russian broadcaster decided to let the jury give the 12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 point.
