A maximum of 11 Finnish Eurovision Song Contest entries will be selected to take part in Muistathan (do you remember…?), the special jubilee concert organised by the Finnish broadcasting company (YLE) in Tampere on 6th May, 2006. This year Finland takes part in the Eurovision Song Contest for the 40th time.

The 11 songs taking part in Muistathan will be selected in the following way: Eurovision Song Contest fans will choose eight of the songs by voting at this special page (you need to register). Additional two wild card songs will be picked by the YLE. The winner of 2006 Finnish national final has a guaranteed place in the show.

Online voting starts now and will end on 17th April. To help voters with their choices YLE will present video clips of all Finnish entries from 1961 to 2005 in a series of TV shows to be broadcast on March-April.

Viewers will televote to choose the most popular Finnishentry during Muistathan on 6th May. All 11 songs will be performed in the jubilee concert by original artists, if possible.
