Ryan Dolan, the Irish representative for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö has been in Russia ahead of his performance in the first semi-final in  on 14 May.

The 27-year-old performed his entry Only love survives in front of 2000 people in the city’s biggest gay club.

He also met with the Russian representative for 2013 Dina Garipova and appeared on MTV Russia, who took him shopping around the capital.

Ryan then had time to have breakfast with the Irish ambassador in Russia, Philip McDonagh.

On Friday 3 May Ryan performed his Eurovision Song Contest entry Only love survives on the Irish national TV RTÉ, The late late show.
