Tomorrow, the third edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest takes place in Hasselt, Belgium. Day by day, esctoday.com will present you the 16 participants, two per day. Today: Thea and her friends from Malta and Malin from Norway!

13. Malta – Thea & Friends – Make it right
Thea & Friends will represent Malta at the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest. With the song Make it right, Thea won the Maltese Junior Song for Europe Festival. Together with her Friends Greta, Jolynn, Luanna, Valerie, Yasmeen, Daniel and Matthew, Thea will be the thirteenth to perform in Hasselt. 13 year-old Thea Saliba is already a musical star in Malta. She performed in popular shows such as The Sound of Music, The King and I, Scrooge and The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Thea attended ballet classes at the Olivia Dow Russian Ballet and appeared in several television shows, which resulted in hosting a live program on Channel Education 22.

Thea is currently preparing a new show in which she will welcome local Maltese stars and have a look at the international music charts.

14. Norway – Malin – Sommer og skolefri
Also this year, Norway was the first country to select a representative for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. On 28th May, 9 year-old Malin won the Norwegian national final, Melodi Grand Prix Junior 2005. Malin will represent Norway in Hasselt with the song Sommer og skolefri. Malin Reitan is nine years old and lives in Trondheim, the third biggest city in Norway. Malin found the inspiration for her song in her favourite season, the summer. At the auditions for the Norwegian selections, Malin's song was judged too short. But on her way back home, the young artist wrote another verse for her song.

Last year, Norway was the host country of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, held in the Olympic city of Lillehammer.

Later today we will present you the last two participants of the 2005 Junior Eurovision Song Contest!
