Charlotte Nilsson Perrelli has given birth to her second child. This happened two weeks earlier than expected but everything is fine according to her doctor. The planned birth was a reason for Charlotte, the Swedish winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 1999 with Take me to your heaven, to cancel her engagement in the upcoming Congratulations show.

A very happy and relieved Charlotte together with her husband Nicola spoke to the newspaper Aftonbladet from the hospital in Stockholm. “Right now it feels so cool, the birth was over in only 2.5 hours. It was so fast that they even didnt even had the time to give me any pain relieving. But it went just fine and smooth anyway”, Charlotte said. As her first son, Angelo, its decided that her second son will be given an Italian name as well. Her newborn was 49 centimetres and 3160 grams at birth. Charlotte was able to leave the hospital after only one day.

As it happened two weeks earlier than planned she can now enjoy three weeks of holiday before she start the rehearsals for the lead as Belle in the Disney musical The Beauty and the Beast that will premiere in Stockholm by the end of this year. But still, Its very unlikely that she will appear in Copenhagen, even as a spectator already on Saturday. By the end of this week, Charlottes new exclusive beauty care products named Perrelli – by Charlotte Perrelli is scheduled to be introduced in stores and cosmetic shops all over Sweden.

For an occasion like this, there is only one thing to say: Congratulations to Charlotte Perelli and her family!
