The Natsionalna Telekompanya Ukraïny, better known as NTU, launched a new logo! The 2005 Eurovision Song Contest host broadcaster chose for a silver-coloured oval shape with a '1', referring to NTU's first channel. By using different light sets, the logo can appear in other colours as well.
The logo replaces the old blue '1', which was very similar to the '1' of Channel One Russia.
The basis of NTU was created in 1939. After the Orange Revolution earlier this year, drastic changes were made in the national public broadcaster's organization. Months later and not without difficulties, NTU successfully hosted the 50th Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv. NTU showed interest in the 2005 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, but didn't appear on the list of participants.
Last month, Andorra's broadcaster RTVA launched a new visual identity as well. Dutch public broadcaster NOS launched a new visual identity later this year.
