Emilija Kokić, the lead singer of Riva, who won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1989 for Yugoslavia with Rock me, will attend the Eurovision Song Contest 50th anniversary show in Copenhagen on 22nd October to present an award.

Emilija will present one of the awards that will be handed out during Congratulations. Croatian broadcaster HRT has also recorded a video with Emilija, which will be shown on the video wall during the two and a half hour show. The tape has already been sent to Denmark.

Since Riva's unexpected Eurovision Song Contest victory sixteen years ago, Emilija Kokić has had the major hit Ja sam vlak in 1995 with the Croatian music diva Nina Badrić. Emilija tried her hand at the Croatian national selection DORA again in 2001, where she was runner-up with the song Ljepota, a duet with Adalbert Turner 'Juci'.

Her last attempt was in 2003, with the song ena od pepela. Interesting fact is that this song did not qualify for the final evening, while Emilija's colleague Nina Badrić was runner-up with the song Čarobno jutro.
