Belarus: Ksenia Sitnik to Hasselt!

11-year old Ksenia Sitnik will represent Belarus at the 2005 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Hasselt, Belgium. During the live broadcast from a studio, where the relatives and friends of the entrants as well as members of the jury were present, the public and the jury selected the winner of Belarussian junior final.

Her song, My vmeste (We are together), is about friendship and love. Earlier, 56 songs were submitted to enter the Belarussian competition for the ticket to Hasselt. The professional jury selected 10 entries to the national junior final. The winner was determined by summing up the votes of the jury and results of the televote.

The hosts of the show were Volha Satsuk, who represented Belarus at Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2003 with her song Tantsui and placed 4th with 103 points, and Yahor Volchek, placed 14th with 9 points with his song Spjavajtse so mnoj in 2004.
