Ruslana at 'Road to Freedom' concert

Ukrainian Eurovision Song Contest winner Ruslana will be performing at the Road to Freedom pop concert, to be held in Brussels, Belgium, tomorrow night. Together with a list of Polish pop stars, Flemish singer Belle Perez who participated in Eurosong 1999 will be present too.

The concert is an organisation of the Deputy Office of Janusz Lewandowski, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland and the Polish Centre in Brussels and will be held in the framework of the campaign Solidarity – The Road to the United Europe. The line-up of the Road to Freedom concert: Maanam, Perfect, Myslovitz, T-Love, Zakopower, Ruslana and Belle Perez.

The show will offer souvenirs of the most popular songs from the 80's, characteristic for the period of Solidarity and the European Springtide of Nations, and performances by the above mentioned contemporary artists. The Polish road to freedom will visually be presented and simultaneously to the concert, other events aiming to promote several Polish cities and regions shall be held in Brussels.

The open air concert takes place on Saturday 17th September and starts at 19:30 CET. Place to be is the Schuman Roundabout in Brussels. The concert will be transmitted in Poland through TVP2. More details and information on the other upcoming Solidarity events can be found on solidarity.be.
