Tonight, Lena Meyer-Landrut’s Stardust won the best national video with at the ECHO Awards 2013.

The 21 years old singer from Hannover beat other four established singers competing in the same category, some of them with a longer career than hers. Lena was also nominated as Best National Female Artist but lost to Ivy Quainoo, winner of the first series of The Voice Germany.

Among the performers of the night were Lena, singing the single mix of her latest single Neon (Lonely People), and this year’s German representative, Cascada, singing her Eurovision entry, Glorious.

Roman Lob, German entrant in Baku, also won the ECHO Award on the radio category with his debut single, and Eurovision entry, Standing still.

Lena won the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo and represented Germany in home soil the next year in Düsseldorf finishing 10th. Roman achieved an honorable 8th place in Baku last year.
