It has already been reported before, that the 1991 Eurovision Song Contest winner Carola will be performing at the Melodifestivalen final this Saturday.

Now the Swedish broadcaster SVT has also confirmed that last year’s winner Loreen will be on stage at the Friends Arena for a special performance.

The director and script writer of the show Edward as Sillén is excited: I don’t think we have ever before been able to have two Eurovision winners on the same night.

We are keeping it all secret for now, but the viewers are going to surprised, says af Sillén for the SVT website.

We are presenting a very different version of Euphoria, he promises.

Carola will be on stage celebrating her runaway victory of Melodifestivalen exactly 30 years ago with Främling.

SVT has promised the iconic song, that most Swedes would probably name as the Melodifestivalen song they remember best, in an unheard version.

The audience will be joining Carola in celebrating the victory 30 years ago that kick-started an amazing career of the singer, who apart from 1983 went to sing for her country in Eurovision twice more, winning the whole thing in 1991 with Fångad av en stormvind.
