GPB, the Georgian national broadcaster has released the 2013 Eurovision entry Waterfall during the a morning show today on GPB1.

The Georgian broadcaster is planning to air the official videoclip of Sophie and Nodi’s Eurovision entry latest by mid-March. The 2013 Georgian representatives will be flying to Yerevan, Armenia at the end of this week as they will be special guests at the 2013 Armenian Eurovision Song Selection on Saturday 2 March. Currently GPB is working on the official videoclip of their Eurovision entry Waterfall which has been composed by Thomas G:son.
Last December the Georgian broadcaster announced that Sopho Gelani and Nodiko Tatishvilli had been selected via an internal selection to represent Georgia at the the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest.
The 2013 official Georgian videoclip has been filmed at Aleksandre Chavchavadze House-Museum in Tsinandali, Kakheti region, and will then continue in Tbilisi. A helicopter from the Ministry of Defence has been used during the filming, whilst the final scenes were filmed in the hall.
Temur Kvirkvelia has directed the videoclip, whilst the outfits of Sophie Gelovani and Nodi Tatishvili Georgian have been designed by Avtandil Tskvitinidze. The stage performance for Sophie Gelovani and Nodi Tatishvili in Malmö next May will be directed by Lasha Oniani.
Georgia will take part in the second semi-final of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, scheduled to be held on 16 May in Malmö.
Georgia debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 with Sopho’s Visionary dream and is yet to win the event. The country’s best placing has been a 9th in 2010 and 2011. Stay tuned to esctoday.com for more details and information regarding the 2013 Georgian Eurovision participation.
