Wig Wam: 'We want rock to conquer Eurovision'

Norway's Wig Wam band were the last entrant to rehearse today on Palats Sportu's stage with their song In your dreams.

After the band finished their act on stage a lot of the viewers inside the arena in Kyiv were quite convinced that Norway will indeed win the final on Saturday, despite the lack of fire pyrotechnics. Later on the band went on to their scheduled press conference in the floor above the hall, although they kept the audience of fans and press waiting for almost half an hour before they eventualy arrived.

'We would love to see rock'n'roll conquer the Eurovision Song Contest. This is a contest of glam and whoelse than us are the best representatives of this kind of music', said the leader, Glam. 'We were actualy very surprised when we won the Norwegian Grand Prix altough being a band of festivals like us, this was not so astonishing', Glam added.

When asked which of Norway's past entries is their best loved, all of them agreed: Sámiid Ædnan of 1980. Wig Wam will perform tonight in the Moda Bar in Kyiv, everyone is invited!
