French Singer Anne Marie David, the 1973 Eurovision winner from Luxembourg and the 1979 French representative, will give a new series of concerts on the stage of the Théâtre du Célébrity Centre in Paris on 12, 13 & 14 April.
The lady of the French chanson, who had submitted a song to represent France in Malmö 40 years after her Eurovision win (see previous article here) losing the golden ticket to the young hopeful Amandine Bourgeois, will treat the audience with her own songs, past hits and new material.
Besides her most famous tracks such as her Eurovision entries Tu te reconnaîtras and Je suis l’enfant soleil, Anne Marie David will perform the songs from her latest album Traces, which includes her French cover of the 2010 Spanish Eurovision entry by Daniel Diges Algo pequeñito titled Adieu pequeñito, as well as the news songs from her latest maxi-single Emotion and Je manque de toi, her 2013 Eurovision bid. The new maxi-single has sold already 12,000 copies since its release a few weeks ago only, proving the lady has quite a solid fan base still.
Before performing in Paris, Anne Marie David will appear together with the 1983 Eurovision winner from Luxembourg, French singer Corinne Hermès, for a special concert to be held in the French city of Limoges on 23 February. The two singers will join forces together with the French singer Hervé Cristiani to raise funds for the AFS (French Spondylitis Association). Check our events section for more details.
A collector version of the maxi-single can be purchased online until 1 March here.
