TVE, the Spanish national broadcaster has informed esctoday.com that the 2013 Spanish Eurovision song selection gala will be held on Tuesday 26 February at the TVE Sant Cugat studios in Barcelona.

El Sueño De Morfeo, the Spanish representatives will sing a total of 3 entries during the show, one of them will be selected for Malmo. The 2013 Spanish Eurovision entry will be selected via a jury/televoting deliberation.

The Spanish band has presented TVE with a total of 4 entries, 2 of them have already qualified for the show, the other two will be released on TVE’s  official website and the Spanish public will have to choose 1 out of the 2 for the grand gala. A total of 3 entries will compete in the song selection show. The Spanish public will be able to vote online on TVE ‘s official website, for the 3rd entry as of tomorrow Tuesday 5 February until  12pm Monday 11 February. The results will be announced on 12 February.

TVE will be releasing the 2 competing entries on their official website www.rtve.es as of tomorrow and will be also releasing snippets of the other 2 entries that are directly qualified for the gala.

TVE has revealed to esctoday.com that all 4 entries have been composed by El Sueño de Morfeo and are both optimistic and have a Celtic influence retaining the true essence and soul of the Spanish band.
