RTE, Radio Telefis Eirann, the Irish national broadcaster has informed esctoday.com that they will reveal the names of the 5 candidates that will compete at the 2013 national final on 7 February.
Esctoday.com can also reveal that the 5 potential Irish entries will be aired on 7 February on the Mooney Radio Show on RTE Radio 1.
The 2013 Irish Eurovision national final will be held on 22 of February 2013. The show will be once again aired on the Late Late Show on RTE.
Ireland holds the record of winning Eurovision 7 times (1970,1980, 1987,1992,1993,1994 and 1996), they also hold the record of winning and hosting the contest 3 years in a row!
