The Swedish broadcaster SVT, responsible for arranging the 2013 Eurovision Song contest in Malmö in May has just held a press conference to reveal the identity of the host.

The speculation has been rife for months now, but in the press conference in the traditional Operakällaren restaurant in Stockholm today was told that the host will be

Petra Mede.

She is a host and a comedian, and hosted Melodifestivalen in 2009.
