Esctoday.com has learned that Andrius Pojavis, the 2013 Lithuanian representative will be performing his Eurovision entry at the 2013 M.A.M.A Awards on 11 January. The  Lithuanian music awards ceremony will be held at the Zalgirio Arena in Kaunas, Lithuania, on 11 January and will be aired at 21.00 local time on Lithuanian TV channel TV3.

Audrius Pojavis won the golden ticket to Malmö  last December when he won the 2013 Lithuanian national final with his entry Something. The Lithuanian artist currently resides in Italy and will be flying to Lithuania specially for the Lithuanian awards ceremony. In Kaunas, Andrius will experience performing in front of a large audience for the very first time. This way he will get a taste of what awaits him next May when he takes the stage in Malmö.

Lithuania debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994 when Ovidijus Vyšniauskas scored a ‘nil points’. Their best result so far is the 6th place secured by LT United with their song We are the winners at the 2006 edition held in Athens.
