ORF, the Austrian national broadcaster has confirmed to esctoday.com that the 5 candidates competing at the 2013 Austrian national final will officially present their songs on Monday 14 January.
Yela, Natalia Kelly, The Bandaloop,Elija and Falco Luneau will be attending the press conference at the Saturn Tower, Donau City in Vienna next Monday. The 2013 Austrian national final is scheduled to take place in Vienna on 15 February.

YELA – THE SOUL SURPRISE
The 31-year-old Daniela Bauer alias Yela was born in Vienna and lives in New York. The talented musician was awarded a scholarship at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she studied voice and music therapy. It was followed by numerous international performances – including the multiple Grammy nominee Musiq Soulchild. Yela is an all-rounder with a great voice who writes and composes her own songs.
The 28-year old singer is from Vorarlberg and currently lives in the Netherlands. Falco Luneau known in Austria as the candidate of the third Star Mania season. His biggest musical success was in the Netherlands where he won a competition with his first single, which stormed the charts. In collaboration with hit producer Tony Cornelissen (Cascada) his last single, No one’s fool, reached the top and charted high at Dutch radio stations.

Austria debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1957 and has won the event in 1966 with Udo Jurgen’s Merci, Chérie.
