The 26 names taking part in this year’s Albanian song festival have been revealed by the broadcaster RTSH. Quite a few familiar names to fans of Albanian Eurovision will return to Festivali i këngës in December. Previous Eurovision Song Contest entrants Anjeza Shahini and Kejsi Tola will try their luck to get the ticket to Malmö.

Also trying his luck is Kosovo born Ardian Bujupi, who has had some success in Germany and internationally after finishing second in the German Pop Idol, Deutschland sucht den Superstar in 2011.

The semi-finals of FiK are scheduled for 20 and 21 December 2012 and the final will be transmitted from Tirana on 22 December.
