Switzerland is proceeding full steam ahead with selecting their entry for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö. Now the Italian language broadcaster has published their 7 candidates ahead of the regional radio final.

A professional jury selected 6 songs from almost 40 submissions to the Swiss Italian broadcaster. Returning from last year is Chiara Dubey, who got to the third place in last year’s Swiss final with Bella sera. Additionally the winner of Swiss talent show Fattore voce, Sohaila will enter with the specially commissioned song But who?. Last year’s Swiss entry Sinplus came from the Italian Swiss selection.

The regional final will be broadcast from Living Room in Lugano at 21.00 CET on radio channel Rete Tre. One song will be selected by a jury and another by a public vote to go to the Swiss final in Kreuzingen on 15 December.

The songs in the Italian Swiss selection are:

• Vanda Palma – La farfalla va
• Theo – My wonderful life
• Sohaila – But who
• Marilise – Nobody
• Chiara Dubey – Bella sera
• Ally – Catch me
