DR, the Danish national broadcaster has informed Esctoday.com that the 2013 Danish national final will be held sometime at the end of January or early February next year.  DR will be revealing the name of the host city, the venue and the date of the 2013 Dansk Melodi Grand Prix in due course.

The Danish broadcaster has received a record 692 songs for their 2013 Eurovision national selection.  Denmark debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1957 and has won the event 2 times ( 1963,2000).
