After the gold record of 1 Life, last year's Belgian representative Xandee now puts up her red Eurovision dress for auction too. The money will go to SOS Kinderdorpen, an organisation supporting several projects in the regions where the tsunami made thousands of victims.

By putting up for auction the dress she wore at last year's Eurovision Song Contest in Istanbul, Xandee has offered a second memory to her Eurovision participation to charity work. Earlier this month, she supported the victims of the tsunami by contributing to the charity single Geef een teken and by putting up the gold record of 1 Life for auction too. A bid on the dress can be made until 20th February.

Whether it was a hard decision for Xandee to part with her Eurovision memories remains the question. In an interview with the Flemish news paper Gazet van Antwerpen, Xandee confessed that she still hasn't seen the video of her performance in Istanbul and that on top of that all she started smoking again during the announcement of the votes.

Xandee was considered as one of the favourites to win the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest but ended up with only 7 points and a 22nd position in Istanbul. Therefore, Belgium will participate in the semifinal of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev.
