Piero Esteriore, who represented Switzerland in Istanbul and finished last in the qualifier round with 0 points, shows up again in Switzerland. His own composition Mammamia has entered the the Swiss single charts at number 12 and has now risen to the 10th place. His Eurovision entry Celebrate! only reached the 11th spot.

It has been very quite about Piero Esteriore since the Eurovision Song Contest last May. But Esteriore has been busy, carefully planning his carreer. “I have been working on a new single and have recorded a video clip for Mammamia in Sicilia, Italy. I had chosen to hide myself for a while and only to show up again when I had something to tell. Now I can show up with a product which I fully support.”

Esteriore also cooperates with a new record company and is very satisfied about that. Problems with his previous record company popped up after his 0 points in Istanbul and both decided to go their own way.
