Today Charlotte Perrelli, formerly known as Charlotte Nilsson, releases her fourth album Gone too long. The 1999 Swedish Eurovision Song Contest winner earlier released the albums Charlotte in 1999, Miss jealousy in 2001 and a christmas album in 2002.

In 1999 she won the Eurovision Song Contest in Jerusalem with Take me to your heaven and now, five years later, Charlotte Nilsson releases her fourth full album. From today on, you can find Gone too long in the Swedish music shops. Don't focus too much on Nilsson cause since she married Nicola Perrelli in August 2003, Charlotte took over her husband's name.

This year has already been a busy one for Miss Perrelli. In January she gave birth to her first son, Angelo. In February and March she was one of the hosts leading Melodifestivalen. Her musical career revived as a new single called Million miles away was released in March and in April and May Charlotte was leading the TV-program Super Trooper.

This summer Charlotte will be on tour with a show called Rhapsody in Rock, an idea of Robert Wells (Melodifestivalen 1987 & 2003). The show in cooperation with some other Swedish artists, Together with other Swedish artists, including Jill Johnson, the 1998 Swedish representative, is trying to combine classical music with rock.

The album Gone too long by Charlotte Perrelli is being released today, 30th June 2004, by BAM.
