Moments ago, the website eurosong.be reported that Julia Savicheva, who represents Russia at this year's Eurovision Song Contest, sings Believe me.
Vlad Yackovlev, who represents broadcaster ORTV and fanclub OGAE Russia, phoned esctoday.com to tell more about the Russian song. “It's an uptempo song, it will be released on single soon”, Yackovlev said.
According to Yackovlev, a team is working on the video clip of Believe me at this moment. It's expected to be finished tonight.
Russia, that participates in the Eurovision Song Contest since 1994, reached very different positions in the past years. In 2000, Russia reached the second place with Alsou and Solo. Kolybelnaya dlya vulkana performed by Philipp Kirkorov brought Russia the lowest position in 1995, a 17th place. On average, female singers reached higher positions for Russia in the past.
