Iceland's participant for the 2004 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, Jónsi, won some awards in the annual listeners award presentation held by Iceland's most popular radio station FM 957.

Jónsi was awarded two individual awards; singer and sex appeal of the year. He along with his band Í svörtum fötum recieved 3 awards; Best album, most popular band and website of the year (www.isvortumfotum.is). Needless to say, Jónsi and his band scooped up most of the awards presented on the night.

It's worth mentioning that after Birgitta Haukdal was chosen to represent at Iceland last years contest, she picked up just as many listeners awards as Jónsi.
