The second semifinal of Eurosong 2004 in Flanders has been won by Elsie Moraïs. With her song Amorè Loco she defeated Raf Van Brussel with one point.
Elsie Moraïs is the youngest participant at Eurosong 2004. The 17 year old born out of a Flemish mother and a Capeverdian father sang the song Amorè Loco, a summery r&b song influenced by reggae sounds. Elsie charmed the professional jury, the European jury and the televoting TV1 viewers who all gave her the maximum of the points.
Runner-up Raf Van Brussel also secured himself a place in the final. With 42 points, he scored 9 points more than last weeks runner-up Nicole & Hugo and so he already belongs to the best 3 runners-up who will join the winners of the semifinals to the final.
