Spain’s Eurovision 2027 Participation Remains Uncertain

Despite the excitement surrounding Benidorm Fest 2027, Spain’s participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2027 remains undecided. RTVE’s chair, José Pablo López, has proposed to the Board of Directors that Spain should not participate in Eurovision 2027, continuing a boycott in protest at Israel’s continued involvement in the contest. Consequently, Benidorm Fest will proceed as a separate music competition for the time being.
