Portuguese Eurovision 2025 representatives, NAPA, have unveiled their brand new single, ‘Coisas Simples’. This latest release serves as the second preview from their forthcoming third studio album, ‘Semitrópico’, set to be released on 16 October.
NAPA, who captivated audiences representing Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with their entry ‘Deslocado’, are back with new music. The band has just released ‘Coisas Simples’, an evocative new track that builds anticipation for their upcoming album.
The new single, ‘Coisas Simples’, follows ‘Sortudo’ as the second taste of what fans can expect from ‘Semitrópico’. The album is scheduled for a 16 October release, promising a fresh chapter in NAPA’s musical journey.
A deeper dive into ‘Coisas Simples’
Released on 18 September 2026, ‘Coisas Simples’ delves into the intensity of an encounter and the profound feeling of immediate recognition between two individuals. The lyrics, penned by Guilherme Gomes, beautifully articulate this connection, with production handled by Lucas Nunes and André Santos.
The accompanying music video, directed by Luís Silva Nunes, transports viewers to the picturesque island of Madeira. It’s a visual celebration of the islanders’ simple way of life, paying homage to the landscapes and people that served as inspiration for the ‘Semitrópico’ album.
Following the album’s release, NAPA is also set to embark on a European tour in November, with dates planned across 11 cities, bringing their new sound to fans across the continent.
