Just a short while after captivating audiences with her energetic performance of ‘Jalla‘ at Eurovision 2026, Antigoni is back with a fresh musical offering. Her new single, ‘OUD‘, showcases a vibrant sound that blends contemporary pop with distinct Mediterranean, Greek, and Arabic influences.
The track, described as a ‘hot summer sound’, continues Antigoni’s exploration of her Cypriot heritage and themes of self-confidence. The song was co-written by Antigoni herself alongside Connor Mullally-Knight, Trey Qua, Lisa Conta, Nancy Florence, Charalambous Kallona, and Demetris Nikolaou.
A Visual Feast Shot in Cyprus
Complementing the infectious rhythm of ‘OUD’ is a stunning official music video, directed by Mike Marzz. The video was filmed entirely on the beautiful island of Cyprus, drawing inspiration from the island’s history, landscapes, and soul. Notable locations, including the historic abandoned village of Agios Sozomenos near Nicosia, provide a unique and atmospheric backdrop, contrasting with Antigoni’s modern sound and youthful energy.
Fans can now stream ‘OUD’ and watch its accompanying music video on all major digital platforms.
The London-based Cypriot singer-songwriter was internally selected by Cypriot broadcaster CyBC to represent the island nation in Vienna.
