Orlin Goranov’s Vision for Bulgaria at Eurovision
Speaking on BNT’s morning programme ‘The Day Begins‘, veteran Bulgarian singer Orlin Goranov expressed his strong conviction regarding the Eurovision Song Contest. Goranov emphasised that the international music event serves as an invaluable platform for Bulgaria to gain global visibility.
He articulated that ‘Eurovision is a chance to show Bulgaria to the whole world,’ underscoring the cultural and promotional benefits the country could reap from participation or hosting. His comments come as discussions about Bulgaria’s involvement in future contests continue, reflecting a broader national interest in leveraging such high-profile events for international exposure.
Orlin Goranov says:
I am sure that we will be able to present ourselves in the best way, because this is the moment when we can restart everything. And our tourism, the advertising for Bulgaria, must be great. And we have something to show. The important thing is that Bulgaria is the host. And if we come together, we can make Eurovision happen in all of Bulgaria.The most important thing right now is to try to create a very, very strategic concept for how to present Bulgaria at this time. Because we have about 10 months until May.
Goranov adds:
Eurovision has many fans and a very large viewership worldwide. And if we manage to use exactly these tools, at this moment, for one week we can make a very good advertisement for our homeland and nature and everything we have, these will only be dividends for us.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2027 is scheduled to be held at the Arena Burgas in Burgas on 11,13 and 15 May.
