SRG-SSR, the Swiss national broadcaster, has confirmed that Switzerland will compete at the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest in Bulgaria.

Just as the dust settles after the magnificent Eurovision 2026 edition in Vienna, Austria, the Swiss national broadcaster has set its eyes on next year’s Eurovision edition scheduled to be held in Bulgaria.

Thus Switzerland joins the list of countries who have so far confirmed their participation at Eurovision 2027.

SSR-SRG the Swiss national broadcaster has published the rules and regulations for the Swiss Eurovision 2027 national selection. The song submission period for the 2027 Swiss Eurovision national selecton will open on 30 August and will close on 11 September.

Switzerland at Eurovision

Switzerland is one of the founder members of the Eurovision Song Contest having debuted in the very first contest in 1956 in Lugano. The Alpine nation has won the competition thrice with Lys Assia (1956), Celine Dion (1988) and Nemo (2024).
