Show must go on! Following a spectacular opening of the 70th Eurovision Song Contest with the first semi-final on Tuesday, tonight the party in Vienna continues with its next station, the second semi-final.
Tonight, Victoria Swarovski and Michael Ostrowski return to guide viewers through the Second Semi-Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, as another group of countries battles for a coveted place in Saturday’s Grand Final. More interval acts, unexpected moments and plenty of Eurovision magic will be experienced throughout the evening.
Tonight, the line-up for the Grand Final will be completed. 15 more countries are competing for the remaining 10 spots in Saturday’s show, which will determine where the Eurovision Song Contest will travel in 2027.

Apart from the 15 competing countries, the rest 3 automatic qualifiers of the Grand Final (France and the United Kingdom as parts of the Big 4, as well as the host country Austria) will take to the stage tonight. All 18 countries have voting rights in this semi-final, both with their televote and national juries.
The voting process
It goes exactly as it did last Tuesday. It’s all of us, with the televote, along with the juries, who will determine the 10 winners of tonight’s semi final.
Both voting bodies will contribute equally to the results, while a special set of points will be awarded by the Rest of the World, which represents all countries around the globe beyond the aforementioned 18 which are parts of tonight’s event.
As usual, at the end of the show, the show’s hosts will announce the 10 finalists one by one, in a completely random order.
How to watch
The second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 begins at 21:00 CEST and will be broadcast live by the national broadcasters of all 35 participating countries of this year’s edition, bringing tonight’s spectacular show directly into millions of homes across Europe and Australia.
At the same time, fans from every corner of the world will also be able to follow all the action live through the contest’s official YouTube channel, joining the celebration online as Europe’s biggest music event unfolds in Vienna.
