Madame Tussauds Vienna is celebrating the upcoming 70th Eurovision Song Contest 2026 by opening a brand-new, exclusive themed area dedicated to the iconic music competition. This exciting new section features wax figures of legendary winners ABBA, alongside Austria’s own Eurovision champions, Conchita Wurst and Udo Jürgens. The area invites visitors to delve into the dazzling history of the Song Contest.

To mark the historic 70th Eurovision Song Contest 2026, Madame Tussauds Vienna has officially unveiled a captivating new themed area. This exclusive section is entirely dedicated to the world’s largest music competition, offering visitors an immersive experience into the unmistakable Eurovision world, from its legendary performances to its iconic winners.

A significant highlight of the new area is the newly installed wax figures of the Swedish cult band ABBA, who famously made international music history with their victory in 1974. They are joined by two of Austria’s most influential Eurovision winners, Conchita Wurst (2014) and the late Udo Jürgens (1966), whose figures are also prominently featured.

The official unveiling of this dedicated Eurovision space was attended by several well-known personalities from the Eurovision world, including Austria’s Eurovision 2024 representative Kaleen, Manuel Ortega, Kim Cooper, Peter Schreiber, and Julia Steen, who were all present for the grand presentation.

Arabella Kruschinski, General Manager of Madame Tussauds Vienna, commented on the new attraction:

“With the new Eurovision area, we are embracing this major international event in Vienna and creating an experience that excites both fans and visitors alike. The combination of national and international iconic winners makes this area truly special.”

This new themed area impressively combines the rich past and vibrant present of the Eurovision Song Contest, adding another interactive highlight to the existing portfolio of Madame Tussauds Vienna. Tickets for Madame Tussauds Vienna are available online, and the new ESC area is open to visitors starting today at the Vienna Prater.
