RTVE is gearing up for a grand celebration of Televisión Española’s 70th anniversary with a special instalment of ‘La Casa de la Música’. This exciting musical event promises to bring together a stellar lineup of talent from across the Spanish music scene.

The special will be presented by the renowned Jesús Vázquez, ensuring a charismatic and engaging show for viewers. The impressive roster of performers includes legendary figures such as Raphael, Ana Belén, Mikel Erentxun, and Mónica Naranjo. Joining them are contemporary stars like Manuel Carrasco and Eurovision 2022 representative Chanel, alongside exciting new talents such as Metrika and Guitarricadelafuente.

This special edition of ‘La Casa de la Música’ highlights RTVE’s commitment to showcasing the rich diversity of Spanish music, from timeless icons to the freshest voices. The inclusion of Eurovision star Chanel is particularly exciting for fans of the contest, as she continues to be a prominent figure in the Spanish music industry since her success in Turin.

The broadcast is expected to be a key event in RTVE’s anniversary programming, celebrating seven decades of television in Spain with a memorable night of music and entertainment.

RTVE will not compete at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 due to Israel’s participation and will not broadcast the event either. We should note that this is the first time that Spain and RTVE will not participate at the ESC since their debut in 1961.
