To celebrate the Eurovision Song Contest being ‘By Your Side for 70 Years’, this year’s Host Broadcaster ORF has produced a special commemorative film. The touching production follows the journey of a young Austrian boy named Toni, who discovers the very first Eurovision Song Contest as a child. He then grows up transfixed by the songs on television, initially by himself and later alongside his partner, spanning seven decades of the iconic competition.

This heartwarming video is set to be utilised by EBU Members across Europe to promote the 70th anniversary of the Eurovision Song Contest. Viewers will get their first glimpse of the film when it opens the First Semi-Final on 12 May.
