The 2025 Austrian Eurovision hopeful, JJ, and the 2014 Austrian Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst have joined forces and released a mash up of their respective ESC entries.
JJ was selected via an internal selection to fly the Austrian flag at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel with his entry ‘Wasted Love‘.
Conchita Wurst represented Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen with her entry ‘Rise Like A Phoenix’, giving Austria its second ESC victory.
The two Austrian Eurovision stars have released a special Mash UP of their ESC entries.
JJ says:
It was simply out of this world to mix ‘Rise Like a Phoenix’ and my song together and perform it with Conchita – I never would have dreamed of it. I had goosebumps, and we had a really good time.
Conchita Wurst says:
Working with JJ is a true privilege. His professionalism is impressive – and when he sings, it’s as if time stands still. I would be incredibly proud if he brought the Eurovision Song Contest back to Austria. I would be incredibly happy for him, for Austria, and for the entire ESC community.
