Norway has decided for Eurovision 2025! Yes ladies and gentlemen, the Norwegians have selected their Eurovision act and entry for Switzerland!

Kyle Alessandro was crowned the winner of Melodi Grand Prix 2025 and will have the grand honour of representing Norway at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland with ‘Lighter‘.

A total of 9 acts competed for the golden ticket to Eurovision 2025 during tonight’s gala. The show was held at the Oslo Spektrum in Oslo and was hosted by Marte Stokstad, Tete Lidbom and Markus Neby

Norway in Eurovision

Norway debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1960 and has won the competition thrice: 1985 (Bobbysocks), 1995 (Secret Garden) and 2009 (Alexander Rybak).

The Nordic country has successfully hosted the competition thrice, once in Bergen and twice in Oslo and has partaken in Europe’s favorite television show 62 times.
