Ireland: RTE unveils the sixth and final Eurosong 2025 competing act

RTE, the Irish national broadcaster, has unveiled the sixth and final Eurosong 2025 competing act today. 

NIYL will be competing at the forthcoming Irish national final- Eurosong 2025 with his entry Grow. A total of 6 acts will be battling for the golden ticket to Eurovision 2025 at Eurosong 2025, which is scheduled to be held on Friday 7 February on the Late Late Show. The Irish national final will be broadcast at 22:35 CET on RTE 1.

The Late Late Eurosong Special will be the show that will determine the Irish Eurovision act and entry.  The 2025 Irish Eurovision entry will be determined via a combined international jury, national jury and public vote deliberation.

RTE’s official press relase reads:

NIYL is billed as mixing “a unique blend of emotionally fuelled vocals with an electronic sound to deliver powerful, cinematic, original works”.

As a queer Irish artist, NIYL wants to “amplify queer culture in the Irish music industry with his music”.

His debut album, Parish Is Burning, is due for release this year.
