NRK, the Norwegian national broadcaster, has released the Melodi Grand Prix 2025 competing entries.

Norway is gearing up for Eurovision 2025 in full steam and preparing for its epic national final- MGP 2025.

NRK has premiered the MGP 2025 competing songs:

Melodi Grand Prix 2025 will consist of a single show with a total 9 acts battling for the golden ticket to Eurovision 2025. The show will be hosted by Marte Stokstad, Tete Lidbom and Markus Neby. MGP 2025 will be held at the Oslo Spektrum in Oslo, Norway on Saturday 15 February.

We have 2 former Norwegian acts are in the line up: Wigwam (Norway 2005) and Bobbysocks (Norway 1985/ ESC winner).

Norway in Eurovision

Norway debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1960 and has won the competition thrice: 1985 (Bobbysocks), 1995 (Secret Garden) and 2009 (Alexander Rybak).

The Nordic country has successfully hosted the competition thrice, once in Bergen and twice in Oslo and has partaken in Europe’s favorite television show 62 times.
