NRK, the Norwegian national broadcaster, has unveiled the ten MGP 2025 competing acts today during a special press conference in Oslo.

Melodi Grand Prix 2025 will consist of a single show with a total 9 acts battling for the golden ticket to Eurovision 2025. The show will be hosted by Marte Stokstad, Tete Lidbom and Markus Neby. MGP 2025 will be held at the Oslo Spektrum in Oslo, Norway on Saturday 15 February.

Initially there were supposed to be ten acts in the national final, but one of the competing acts withdrew from the competition, hence we have nine acts at the MGP 2025 now.

NRK unveiled the 9 competing acts at the forthcoming Norwegian national final:

  2. Nora JabriSulale
  3. LLLParasite
  4. NataleenThe Game
  5. SondreyVagabond
  6. LadybugHot as Hell in Paradise
  7. Tone DamliLast Song
  8. Kyle AlessandroLighter
  9. Wig WamHuman Fire

We have 2 former Norwegian acts are in the line up: Wigwam (Norway 2005) and Bobbysocks (Norway 1985/ ESC winner).

The competing songs will be released on 24 January.

Norway in Eurovision

Norway debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1960 and has won the competition thrice: 1985 (Bobbysocks), 1995 (Secret Garden) and 2009 (Alexander Rybak).

The Nordic country has successfully hosted the competition thrice, once in Bergen and twice in Oslo and has partaken in Europe’s favorite television show 62 times.
