Suspilne, the Ukrainian national broadcaster, has released the VIDBIR 2025  longlist of participants.

Suspilne is working round the clock for its upcoming national selection Vidbir 2025 in full steam. The Ukrainian national broadcaster has published the longlist of the 20 potential competing acts at Vidbir 2025.

The 20 acts will now partake in an audtion, where 9 acts will be selected by the expert jury.  The 10th act will be selected via a public online voting.

A total of 10 acts will battle at Vidbir 2025 which is scheduled to be held in Kyiv in February. The 2025 Ukrainian Eurovision act and entry will be determined via a combined jury/ public voting deliberation.

Tina Karol (Music Producer Vidbir 2025/ Ukraine 2006) says:

Today, the longlist of participants in the National Selection for Eurovision-2025 is being presented! 20 performers from almost 400 submitted applications have made it to it.

The artists of the longlist are a new musical showcase, the main feature of which is quality and relevance. All participants are talented, self-sufficient and bright. I am very grateful to everyone who submitted applications! I would like to note that I was very disappointed, because many strong songs did not make it to the list of participants due to non-compliance with the rules of the National Selection.

Namely: they were published or performed earlier, were longer than three minutes, had parts of someone else’s poems or offensive language. My advice: if the song has not been published before, please refine it and submit your application next year.
